GUEST POST:Fashion, Beauty and Makeup Can Improve a Woman's Life

By: Jackie Clark

Women know when they feel the most confident and the most empowered. Most of the time, it is directly related to something she was wearing or how good she felt she looked at that time. In fact, clothes, fashion and makeup can play such a vital role in the lives of women that they can actually make her feel fabulous in virtually any situation.

A woman who feels nervous about a presentation at work will most likely feel more confident when she is looking her best. By donning a power suit and perfecting her hair and makeup, she can walk into that conference room and feel powerful and confident enough to rock her presentation. It is very similar to the way a woman feels on her wedding day. Mentally she knows that she is the most beautiful woman in the room because she has her dream dress on, her hair perfected and flawless makeup. Every woman on a smaller scale can have this same feeling everyday if they just take the time to extenuate all the wonderful attributes they already have through fashion and makeup.

However when a woman is having perhaps not having a great day regardless of what the circumstance may enduring, by going shopping, getting her hair done or going to the salon for a manicure and pedicure can turn her attitude around. Even a new tube of lip-gloss can drastically improve a woman’s mood because once she applies that shimmery look; a part of her will feel more fabulous about herself.

Just like beauty, fashion and makeup can make a woman’s mood skyrocket in any given moment, a cancer diagnosis can make it sink faster than anything else. Hearing a doctor inform her that she has been diagnosed with a rare form of mesothelioma cancer can make a woman feel worse than anything that has ever happened in her life. This is perfectly normal: however, a woman should deal with her negative emotions and come to term with her diagnosis because her prognosis depends greatly on her quality of life. The more positive outlook a woman has throughout her disease, the better the chance she has of overcoming the cancer.

Perhaps the easiest way a woman can improve her quality of life is to lift her confidence up by making her feel more positive and powerful about herself from head to toe. A manicure and a pedicure will go a long way, but they will go even farther when paired with a great dress or perfect jeans to show off your legs, a gorgeous pair of designer shoes to make you look more feminine or amazing accessories to highlight your features.

Mineral makeup
is also a great tool to utilize because it not only is good for the environment; it is also good for a woman’s skin. The perfect outfit paired with the right accessories and a touch of makeup to accentuate a woman’s best features, such as big, beautiful eyes or high cheekbones can make a woman feel beautiful, despite her cancer diagnosis. When she looks in the mirror and sees her gorgeous reflection staring back out at her, she is going to feel her confidence level rise and her quality of life with automatically improve.

There is no better way to deal with any type of cancer treatment than with a positive outlook that can only be helped by feeling gorgeous and beautiful. Don’t let any of life’s adversities take away from the gorgeous woman you are. Makeup and fashion can help a woman feel empowered and sexy in a matter of minutes, so take the time and have fun with cosmetics and live a beautiful life inside and out!

What Breaks You Out?

Hello All!
I was just reading this months issue of Glamour Magazine and came across the beauty section which talked about clear skin! Everyone loves clear skin, however, many of us do not know why we can't have it. Skin breakouts are caused by a variety of factors and I am going to list a few for you all riiiiight now!

1)Prescription Drugs: SOMETIME- "Some anti depressants and ADHD medications list acne as potential side effects".

2)Dairy: MAYBE - "Thought to trigger high levels of growth factor called IGF-1)" Try soy milk! Yum!

3)Your Phone: YES - "A phone can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Clean it regularly"

4)Stress: NOT REALLY - " Stress alone probably isn't enough to cause acne, but it can make those who are predisposed to pimples flare up."

5)Your Cranky Stomach: YES- " If you have irritable bowel syndrome or a frequently upset stomach, see a gastroenterologist-your skin could clear up too."

6)Makeup: YES- "Look for the words noncomedogenic or non-acnegenic"

7)Trans Fat: YES- "Known to trigger inflammation, which can cause breakouts."

8) Chocolate: JURY'S OUT-" Resent data suggest the culprit is not cocoa but sugar. Go for dark chocolate; it's less sweetened.

SO IF YOU WERE WONDERING WHAT MAKES YOU BREAK OUT. THERE YOU ARE!

Much Love and God Bless!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Eye Make up Remover!

Hello Guys!

I had a problem a while back. My little niece came into my room and poured out my eye make up remover! I did not know what to do because I do wear waterproof mascara (which is hard to get off!), eyeshadow and eyeliner. I called my friend in a rampage because water and soup just was not getting in off. He recommended Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
Before I started my nightly face regimen I took a small amount of EVOO, and saturated a cotton ball with it. I proceeded to wipe my eyes of the makeup that had been on my eyes for hours! And guess what????? It came off! Yay!!!!!! This method of make up eye removing worked for me. It was effortless and aided in nice and clean eyes for bed.

JOIN IN PROTECTIVE STYLING FOR THE WINTER!

HELLO!
WINTER IS HERE! NOT THAT I AM THAT EXCITED HOWEVER, THIS TIME OF YEAR IS AWESOME! CHRISTMAS, MY BIRTHDAY, SO MANY LOVED ONES BIRTHDAYS AND PROTECTIVE STYLING! I MUST ADMIT, I LOVE FIGURING OUT HOW I AM GOING TO WEAR MY HAIR IN THE WINTER MONTHS BECAUSE IT ALLOWS ME TO BE CREATIVE! AND WE ALL KNOW THAT IN THE WINTER MONTHS WE  ALL HAVE TO GIVE OUR HAIR A LITTLE TLC! I WANTED TO EXTEND THE INVITE TO ALL OF MY READERS AND GIVE YOU ALL SOME GREAT IDEAS!
1) BUNS!
I LOVE BUNNING MY HAIR! PUTTING YOUR HAIR IN A BUN ALLOWS YOUR ENDS TO BE PROTECTED FROM THE HARSH WINDS OF THE WINTER MONTHS. THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO BUN YOUR HAIR!

LATELY I HAVE BEEN WEARING THE MESSY BUN AND A NEW BUN TECHNIQUE THAT I LOVE WHICH IS THE PIN CURL BUN. I GOT THE IDEA FROM YOUTUBER MY PURE BEAUTY!

2) BRAIDS OR TWIST
ALLOWING YOUR HAIR TO STAND IN BRAIDS OR TWIST ALLOWS YOUR HAIR TO REST FOR A WHILE. BECAUSE WINTER IS SO COLD, IT DRIES OUT ANYONE'S HAIR REALLY FAST. THIS STYLE WILL LOWER THE MANIPULATION OF THE HAIR BECAUSE IT IS SET! YOU CAN APPLY MINI BRAIDS OR TWIST, FRENCH BRAIDS, CORN ROWS, WHATEVER YOU DESIRE!

3)WIGS, EXTENSIONS, AND SATIN LINING!
I MYSELF AM NOT A VERY BIG WIG WEARER, HOWEVER, I HAVE STARTED WEARING EXTENSIONS THIS YEAR, AND I MUST SAY, IT HAS HELPED MY HAIR OUT A LOT! THIS ALLOWED MY HAIR TO REST AND RETAIN LENGTH AT THE SAME TIME! BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT APPLYING CHEMICALS TO YOUR HAIR, HEAT, OR MANIPULATING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!

DURING THE WINTER MONTHS MAKE SURE THAT YOU ALL DEEP CONDITION ON A REGULAR BASIS, AND USE SATIN OR SILK WHILE YOU SLEEP AND INSIDE OF YOUR HATS AND HOODS!

I REALLY HOPE YOU ALL LEARNED SOME NEW THINGS! HAVE FUN PROTECTING YOUR HAIR!

MEET MISS D'SHONDRA RIDEOUT

HELLO ALL!

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF SPEAKING WITH D'SHONDRA RIDEOUT! A VERY TALENTED SONGSTRESS AND FELLOW MICHIGANDER THAT I FIRST NOTICED ON KIRK FRANKLIN'S "JESUS" OFF OF HIS CD THE FIGHT OF MY LIFE. HERE IS THE SONG BELOW:

SHE IS A VERY DRIVEN YOUNG LADY THAT IS CHASING AFTER HER DREAMS! I KNEW THAT MANY YOUNG LADIES (CHRISTIAN OR NOT) WOULD BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY WITH HER! I INTERVIEWED HER THIS PAST WEEK. EVEN WITH HER SCHEDULE SHE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO INTERVIEW WITH ME AND I THANK HER! I JUST WANTED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HER STYLE BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS LOOKS SO DARN CUTE AND I KNEW MANY OTHERS WOULD LOVE TO KNOW AS WELL!
YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH HER ON HER TWITTER      HERE.

SO CHECK OUT D'SHONDRA!

1) I have seen you in person a couple of times, and you always look so nice! How would you explain your personal style?

-well thanks!! :-) I'm very old school.. I lived with my grandparents for a while so a bit of grandmoms style became my style. On an average day I like to wear jeans and a blazer with a very cute shoe(I LOVE SHOES!!!) overall my style would be comfortable/casual chic.
2) Being a fellow church girl, how do you express your style at church? What are some of your favorite things to wear?

-I love women's suits! I own so many lol I will usually wear a suit with sky high heels or a nice dress.

3) What are some of your favorite trends for the Fall/Winter?

- Fall is definitely my favorite season. I'm loving the faux furs and riding boots. I just like being able to actually 'dress'!

4) What are some of your favorite beauty products?

- M.A.C. Anything lol Since I travel so much and I have to wear makeup often a good face wash is VITAL!! My skin is weird(very oily and acne prone), so I use Neutrogena oil free acne stress control. The whole line works wonders for me.

5) What would you say to someone who is reaching for their dreams like you are reaching for yours?

- Just stay focused on God, stay in your Bible, and don't ever conform to this world. It WILL get hard to stay on track sometimes and it's easy to get discouraged but God is always there, and trust me... He has your back! Don't give up!!

6) Would you like to add anything else?

;-) not unless you want to ask more!
I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU AGAIN TO D'SHONDRA AND I PRAY THAT SHE CONTINUES TO REACH FOR HER DREAMS! CHECK HER OUT AT http://www.twitter.com/DSHONDRA

Natural Hair: My flexi rod set!

Hello All!

So I decided to make a post about my hair! I have been natural for about hmmmm, almost two years, not quite, well i have not had a relaxer I have only been natural a few months. I have had tremendous growth! And I have been trying different things with my look! I have been wearing flex rod sets and they have been great! I use the orange and grey ones and they make the perfect set!

What you will need:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Conditioner
Natural Oil (I prefer EVOO)
Flexi rods
Moisturizer
Time!!!!!!!

Takes about 2:45 (depending on length and thinckness of hair!)

Here is how I achieve the look!
1)I rinse with apple cider vinegar and deep conditioned with regular conditioner and EVOO (EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL).
2) I then moisturize with either Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie, or Cantu Shea butter leave in.
3) I seal with EVOO or an oil mix
4)I began parting my hair starting in the back, making about four sections (two in the back, and two in the front).
5) I began rolling each section with the flexi rods, adding get (Eco Styler with Olive Oil) in a spiral and bending at the ends. ( usually do about 10 in each section getting a fuller more defined look) like the pictures below. However, in the picture about I only used 24 flexi rods, I was tired and sleepy! lol. It was Saturday Night!

6) I then sit under the dryer for about 2 hours, take out the flexi rods, and separate!
Easy as 123456! lol.

Hope you have fun with the flexi's!

MEET MISS BREANA ALLEN OF BEAUTE MARC CLOTHING.

HELLO ALL!
THIS WEEK I HAD THE PLEASURE OF INTERVIEWING BREANA ALLEN, FOUNDER AND DESIGNER OF BEAUTE MARC CLOTHING.  WHICH IS A LINE OF CLOTHING AIMED AT INNER BEAUTY & SELF ESTEEM. BREANA IS A 19 YEAR OLD WITH A LOT OF TENACITY AND STRENGTH (AND WE CAN NOT FORGET HER FASHION SENSE!) I JUMPED ON THE CHANCE TO INTERVIEW HER AND INTRODUCE HER TO MY READERS! BREANA HAS A VERY INSPIRATIONAL STORY THAT I CAN RELATE TO. AND I KNEW MANY OTHERS WOULD AS WELL! BEAUTE MARC CLOTHING WILL BE LAUNCHED LATER THIS YEAR, HOWEVER, YOU CAN PREVIEW HER LINE HERE ON HER WEBSITE.

I WANTED TO ASK HER SOME QUESTIONS SO THAT HER INTRODUCTION CAN BE GRAND! HERE IS THE INTERVIEW:

1) I love your skin! What is your skincare regime that allows your skin to look the way that it looks? What are your favorite products?

Everyday I cleanse my face with Olay Facial wipes and use Mary Kay facial moisturizer. I try not to drink things with so much acid, though I’m in LOVE with apple and orange juice! Times when I see a bump try to creep up, I use a Mary Kay facial mask the night before and kid you not, the next day, it’s gone.

2)What are your favorite beauty products? And what do you live by? (Ex: make up, hair products etc.)
Whenever I have photo shoots I tend to always use MAC products. Mac is my favorite make-up company for sure. But I also love Bobbi Brown lip-gloss. I actually just bought some Bobbi Brown for the first time about 2 weeks ago when I was down at Somerset. I can’t live without my lip-gloss! Lip-gloss will get put before any other beauty product! I’m infatuated with Mizani hair products. They make my hair really soft and bouncy whenever they’re in usage (this also includes my hair extensions)!

3)Your style is HOTT! How would you explain your personal style?

My style is very uncommon, which is the best word I use to describe myself in general. Most of the time, I don’t put my clothes together like the night before. It takes me about 20 minutes to pick up different things including: scarves, shoes, jackets, shirts, pants, jewelry and other accessories, to see which ones I like the best. Then I combine them and get my overall look.

4)What are your favorite things in your closet?

My favorite things in my closet would be my blazers and harem trouser pants. I’m in love with styling up a blazer and a pair of harems!

5)What are your favorite fall trends this year?

Scarves & Hats are my ultimate favorites. I love mixing up my hats with different fits in my closet, along with orange and brown colored scarves. I saw some dope blazers and trousers for Fall 2011 that I’m excited to get my hands on! It’s that time for my favorite material, Corduroy! Fall is definitely my favorite season of the year because I get to wear my faves!

6)You are all about loving yourself from the inside out. Why do you love yourself and what made you love yourself the way that you do?

Wow, well growing up, I struggled with my image. I know I sound like I’m 30… but it’s the truth. People my age are still struggling like I did when I was in my high school days. There was a moment in time where I hated my body. I couldn’t stand to look at myself in the mirror and when I did, I made myself throw up. I was bulimic on and off for about 4 years (since 8th grade). The only person who knew about it was God. When I started getting closer to God, I started realizing my true worth and who I really was. After that, I knew it was time to help other young women discover who they really were. I love myself because I’m just that: MY SELF. I’m a great person with an even greater heart. I tell myself that a lot too. Though I go through things, I’m still one of the strongest people I know. I control my destiny. God has given me the choice of whether or not to do what He has called me to do. When I found that life wasn’t all about me, I was determined to help others. Helping others makes me love myself even more.

7)How does your walk with God play a part in your outlook on things in your life?

Honestly, if God wasn’t in my life, I wouldn’t be alive today. Like I’d seriously be dead as a result of suicide. If it weren’t for God, my life wouldn’t be as amazing as it is. I depend on Him in everything I do. He gave me Beaute Marc. He put the passion in me for everything I do. I thank Him for allowing and TRUSTING me to carry on to help other young women. God is my MAIN MAN! He is THEE MAN. I would have no kind of positive outlook if it weren’t for Him.

8)Now you have your own clothing line. What is the name of your line and how did that come about?

My clothing line’s name is Beaute Marc (pronounced Beauty Mark). God gave me this name in 2008. I asked Him why He gave it to me and He responded by giving me a scripture: Psalms 139: 13-15

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.”

When God gave me this, I was in tears. He created Beaute Marc to help me teach women that their beauty was first created on the inside. God wants me to show these women that He wants us to represent HIS ways. His ways being that your inner beauty should come FIRST since it was created first. Anything that’s first is very important. Beaute Marc’s mission is to DEVELOP inner beauty while ENHANCING outer beauty.

9)What can people expect from Beaute Marc?

People can expect a variety of things from looking sexy in their Beaute Marc jeans to loving themselves from the inside out. I want my clothes to make a difference in every beautiful woman’s life that buys a Beaute Marc item. Expect uncommon gear that I would wear. I will never put out something that I wouldn’t wear myself.

10)Where do you want to be 10 years from now in fashion? In life?

10 years from now I’ll be in a huge black yacht with my kids, husband, and dog. I’ll be successful, an even more mature God-fearing woman, and a great CEO/Entrepreneur.  In 10 years, everyone will know about Beaute Marc Clothing and my other accomplishments. My # 1 goal is help others so whatever it is God leads to me to do, I know it will be a great success!

11)How would you help someone who feels insecure about their bodies?

I would tell them to not compare themselves with other people! Comparing yourself is like slapping God in the face and telling Him that what He created wasn’t good enough. “Never bite the hand who feeds you”.  You are beautiful. Do NOT let ANY guy or female tell you otherwise. You look yourself in the mirror everyday and say 3 great things about you. Speak it loud and clear! Love yourself no matter what, baby!

12)Anything else you would like to add?

Beaute Marc is going to take over! LOL I’m excited about my future. Being a full time student and only 19 can be a little tough, but I got this. I appreciate everyone who supports me! Keep the right people around you! Relationships can either make or break you. When God is trying to elevate you, He ALWAYS uses a person! Remember that!

WE BOTH HAD FUN WITH THE INTERVIEW! THANK YOU AGAIN BREANA! AND DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK OUT HER WEBSITE http://www.beautemarconline.com/

MUCH LOVE AND GOD BLESS!

WOMEN WHO WEAR BLACK! (HOW TO WEAR BLACK)

"Women who wear black lead colorful lives!"
-Neiman Marcus 2008

Hello All!
So many women think that wearing black is meant to depict a certain attitude or feeling. But black is so much more than wearing a big black hat with black shoes, black shades, and a black dress to a funeral. In 2008 Neiman Marcus had an advertisement which stated that "women who wear black lead colorful lives". However, how do you wear black? Black is known to many to slim problem areas on the body, however, what do you pair black with? Can everyone wear a all black? That is the question!
Black is not a color for every woman to wear near the face. For women with pale skin, it is said to look very unforgiving. Black is a color that could be paired with warm and cool colors!  Just because you have pale skin does not mean you can not wear black.  Wearing a brighter color if worn on top creates a more befitting look.

These two looks that I saw on www.elle.com from the Spring 2012 Cyntia Rowley show are great examples. These are two very beautiful models with pale skin. The dresses that they are wearing )which are lovely by the way) add a bit of contrast with the black which creates a beautiful look! Also because they are pale the dress has a lower neckline so that it would be perfect for any woman that wants to wear this dress.

The little Black Dress
The little black dress which is a fashion staple can be worn so many ways!
1) With colorful shoes to add excitement to the ensemble!
2)Mixing it with white
3) Add interesting jewelry
4) Add a blazer

Black is one of my favorite things to wear! I think I wear black almost every day and some way or another. All you have to do is know how to wear this color and you too will be able to lead a colorful life!

Beauty Tip: How to Remove Glitter Nail Polish

Last year I fell in love with the glitter nail polish until  I had to take it off! Here is a tip on how to easily remove glitter nail polish!

Step 1: Saturate cotton with acetone or polish remover (a remover with acetone works best).
Step 2: Place the cotton on the nail and wrap each finger in aluminum foil. Press down.
Step 3: Leave on for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Pull the foil off and your glitter polish will glide off, too
Glitter Begone! LOL

Nab some dollar store deals:Beauty on a budget

Hello All!
I know that many many fashionistas, make up addict, etc. can not always shop at high priced department stores for their clothes and make up. That is where thrifting comes in handy with the clothes, but what about beauty products, such as make up or shampoo. THE DOLLAR STORE! Here where I live we have a wonderful dollar store that carries awesome beauty products. I purchased Maybelline there! (When some retailers need to get rid of extra beauty products, they sell it to discount shops). But you do not just want to buy any old thing from the dollar store because the stock can be old, but follow these guidelines, and grab some awesome deals!

1. Only buy products with a seal- You do not want to buy anything if it is not sealed. It may have been opened, tested, and that could cause bacteria.
2  Stock up!!-. Always purchase nail files, clippers, scrunchies, mirrors, sharpeners, etc you can have a limitless supply with it only being a dollar!
3.  Try elf- I went to my dollar store and saw elf cosmetics! they have brushes, eye shadow, liners, and glosses for only a buck!! (Not all items are a dollar visit their website.) It is a great brand to use for the recessionista!
4. Shake, Shake, Shake- Pressed powders can be broken shaking and dropped during the storage process, so gently shake the powder close to your ear to ween out the broken ones. (You will hear the broken pieces) this will also work for eye shadows!
5, Try DIY- I know everyone can not afford to go out and purchase whats trending, so what do you do? Do to the dollars store and make your own!  They have headbands, glue, pins, etc. to make the perfect accessory!

I hope you find these tips useful! Have fun shopping for a dollar!
God Bless!

Beauty Tip: Smooth Lips for Spring

Hey Guys!
Ever wonder why your lips chap? I did! It seems as if every winter my lips seemed to crack, chap, and dry so much! I hate the feeling of lipstick over dry lips which make the lipstick or gloss look gross! So I was talking to my friend and he gave me the perfect remedy for chapped lips.

( A Lip Exfoliator!) I know! It is a simple process that only takes 1 minute and you can find the ingredients right in your kitchen cabinet.

Ingredients
Honey
Sugar
Directions
In small bowl or even in your hand(which can be kind of messy) mix the honey and sugar (a very small amount). Rub over your lips after your wash your face. You can rub this over your lips with your fingers or lightly with a toothbrush. And wash off! The result: Smooth Lips! Tip: Finish with a lip balm or even Petroleum Jelly.

Entering Spring with a Glow

Hello Dolls!
As Spring is vastly approaching beautiful glowing skin is a must have! I get asked a lot about my skin, so I decided to talk about skin care to promote healthy radiant skin! Sleep,  low stress,  clean pillowcases, and exercise all contribute to healthy skin. When you are sleeping you have to make sure that you get enough sleep to ensure a refreshed look as you awaken in the morning. While sleeping you want to make sure that you sleep on a clean pillowcase( switch once a week). When you have a lot of stress surrounding you if effects your body in a negative way. Stress can cause  your face to break out and produce fine lines (we don't want that!). Consistent workouts help reduce inflammation and boost circulation to deliver nutrients to your skin. The effect: a healthy glow!
To get healthy skin you also need to have a good regimen. Start with a gentle cleanser, A mild exfoliator or a toner, moisturizer with SPF, and if you want a night cream. I make homemade facial masks sometime, and they have proven to work. One that I recommend is the Egg and Almond Mask, which will give dry itchy skin and beautiful moisturized healthy looking glow!

Egg and Almond Mask:

Beat 1 egg and add 1 teaspoon of almond oil to it and mix it thoroughly and apply it on the face evenly and leave it on for around 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off after that with cold water. This facial mask leaves a glowing face for dry-skin. (Almond oil is good for dry skin.)

Hope to see you all glowing this spring :-)

ICE COLD!!!!!!!!!!!

I love having having hair and beauty regimens and one thing that I have in my regimen is Water. I drink about 100 oz. of water a day ( two 50 oz. bottles.) Water helps everything in your body. You can not go more than 40 days without water. It helps maintain clear skin, and a lean body. But it also helps with two other things that have nothing to do with health. I use cold water for my hair and to aid my drying nails.

Hair
I have natural hair, and a very important element in natural hair (curly, kinky, coiled, wavy, not chemically treated hair) is moisture. Moisture is the key to beautiful healthy curls. And cold water helps with that. Cold water can be used in two ways. 1) After washing hair in the shower- After you wash and condition your hair, or co wash (conditioner wash) rinse your hair with cold water to seal in the moisture from the conditioner and/or deep conditioner. This will aid in preventing breakage at the ends of your hair. 2) While styling after washing your hair- While styling your hair after washing do not comb or brush your hair! After you apply product to your hair, scrunch your hair with a cold towel to define curls and prevent frizz.

Nails
I love to do my own manicures and sometime when I am in a rush I smudge my polish because I don't allow my nails to dry completely. Then I found out about the cold water method. It takes about 20 min for nails to dry, however, to speed the process up, run cold water over your nails, or put your hands in a bowl of cold water. This will aid in drying your nails.

This is my first beauty tip and I hope you lovely ladies enjoyed!
XO
